Hello girls!
I can’t believe how long it has been.
I’ve been so busy with two performances.
One being a dance performance and one being a play.
[I made my own fringed shirt for the dance performance
DIY fringed shirt post will be updated shortly
along with the post on my experience with
the play Shakespeare [THE COMEDY OF ERRORS].
So come back soon! 🙂
Before two shows, I had a project for my
major class ‘Movement for Actors’.
as it says, it concentrates on “movement” for actors 😉
I took ‘voice for the actors’ with an amazing
professor Deborah Mayo. The material was challenging and
hard for me [FOB] but it was definitely something I needed.
well, back to this class.
First, I love my professor.
You will never imagine what we do in this class
unless you have experience in actor training.
We jump around, walk around, run around, crawl around,
roll around or do not move at all.
It could look silly and crazy to other people, but
because our professor treats this class and students
with so much passion and respect
all students take this class very seriously.
It’s very physical and challenging to the body.
Since we are concentrating on our physical expression,
we always try to make “neutral face”
We work with mask in this class and
as a preparation for our final presentation
[presenting a short scene with our masks[
we made our own masks.
Here’s my mask!
Her name is Cathy!LOL
We will have our final presentation on May 10th.
I am very excited for it!
